Ok, here we go:
My name is Daniel Romanow.
I am an experienced advertising professional currently living in New York City. In my previous positions, I managed global campaigns for some of the biggest marketers in the world, wrote positioning platforms, press releases and even designed several logos and websites (though by no means am I designer). It was all pretty fun – until it wasn’t – and I was out of a job.
This sparked the idea of The Unemployment Line. The verdict is still out on whether this idea was a good one, or a poor one (no pun intended).
My intentions were not to create a sobbing documentary of my job search – but more of a Gen-Y’s take on advertising, branding, communications and yes – unemployment.
While (thankfully) I am now employed, The Unemployment Line serves as a glimpse into a a difficult, amusing, and all together empowering period of my young life.
I appreciate that you are taking the time to look at this blog and sharing in my experiences.
